The Evolution of The M.O.T.S. Diagram

You can believe in something without being convinced of it. I can believe that there are other planets of with life out there in the galaxy, without being convinced to complete certainty.

Sometimes it’s pragmatic to believe something, even though you’re not convinced of it.  You might believe one choice is better than the other without being convinced of it. The bulk of the truths found in the M.O.T.S. diagram are not meant to be taken as literal objective truths. In fact you don’t have to believe them at all. But if you wanted to be pragmatic, you could act as though they are true. Believe in them without being convinced of their 100% objectivity, and observe the subjective affects they have.

Acting as though you believe something exists, is in itself a form of belief.
